General

What is SportsID?

SportsID is a comprehensive sports technology platform that connects athletes, parents, coaches, trainers, and sports organizations in one place. The platform serves over 70 million youth athletes annually through a modular ecosystem of tools for camp registration, tournament management, team operations, coach discovery, and more. SportsID is built by SportsID, Inc., headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The company was founded in 2015 by former NFL All-Pro cornerback Ryan McNeil, who brings 11+ years of professional football experience to the mission of improving access and organization in youth sports.

Who is SportsID for?

SportsID is built for the entire sports ecosystem, not athletes alone. The platform serves:

  • Athletes of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to elite competitors
  • Parents and guardians who need to find programs, track progress, and manage registrations
  • Coaches and trainers who want to promote their services, manage rosters, and connect with talent
  • Leagues, schools, and clubs that need tools for organization management, scheduling, and communication
  • Venue operators who want to list facilities and manage bookings
  • Tournament organizers who need bracket management, scoring, and registration systems

What sports does SportsID support?

SportsID launches with the most popular youth, high school, amateur, and collegiate sports in the U.S. These include football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, swimming, volleyball, track and field, tennis, wrestling, and golf. The platform is expanding its sports coverage on an ongoing basis. If your sport is not listed, contact us at support@sportsid.io. We are building for everyone.

Platform and Modules

What are SportsID's core modules?

SportsID operates through a set of integrated modules, each designed to serve a specific function within the sports ecosystem:

  • CampID: Find, compare, and register for sports camps. Camp operators manage listings, registrations, scheduling, and payments in one place.
  • CoachID: A searchable database of coaches with profiles, credentials, ratings, and a job board. Athletes and families connect directly with qualified coaches.
  • TrainerID: Book sessions with certified trainers, track performance development, and manage training programs over time.
  • TeamID: Manage team rosters, schedules, communications, documents, and parent portals. Includes tools for attendance, fee collection, and statistics.
  • TournamentID: Run tournaments with bracket generation, live scoring, registration, scheduling, and results tracking.
  • VenueID: List, search, and book sports facilities. Venue operators manage availability, pricing, and reservations.

Are there additional modules planned?

Yes. SportsID's roadmap includes future modules such as AgentID for athlete representation services, eSportsID for competitive gaming, and FantasyID for fantasy sports integration. These modules will roll out as the platform scales. All future modules integrate with the core SportsID profile and data ecosystem.

Getting Started

How do I get started with SportsID?

Follow these four steps:

  • Create your profile. Athletes, parents, coaches, trainers, and organizations each build a profile with their sports interests, skill levels, availability, and goals. Complete profiles receive better matches and visibility.
  • Search and filter. Browse camps, tournaments, training sessions, coaching opportunities, and venues. Use filters for sport, location, age group, skill level, cost, and schedule.
  • Connect and register. Contact organizers, register for events, join teams, or book training sessions directly through the platform. Communication and payments are handled within SportsID.
  • Participate and review. Attend your event, track your progress, and leave a review. Your feedback helps the entire community make better decisions.

How do I edit or update my profile?

Log in to your account on the web or app. Go to your profile and select Edit. You update stats, highlights, achievements, photos, videos, and bio information at any time.

Pricing and Plans

Is there a cost to use SportsID?

SportsID offers both free and premium plans.

  • Free Plan: Create a profile, search for programs, connect with other users, and showcase achievements at no cost.
  • Premium Plans: Access advanced analytics, video uploads, verified badges, priority visibility, performance dashboards, and additional features.
  • Group Pricing: Teams, leagues, and schools qualify for group rates, so entire organizations benefit at a lower per-user cost.

Is there a SportsID mobile app?

Mobile apps for iOS and Android are in active development and scheduled for release in 2026. The apps will include smart search, real-time messaging, schedule management, GPS-based discovery, push notifications, and offline access. Until the mobile apps launch, the full SportsID experience is available through the web platform at www.sportsid.io.

Can I leave reviews and endorsements?

Yes. Coaches, trainers, and teammates endorse athletes. Parents review camps and programs. Athletes rate coaches and training sessions. These reviews build credibility across the platform and help future users make informed decisions. Rate programs on factors like organization, instruction quality, facilities, value, and overall experience.

Finding the Right Program

How do I know if a program is right for me or my child?

Use these steps to find the right fit:

  • Check skill level requirements. Programs indicate beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels.
  • Read reviews and ratings from past participants.
  • Contact the organizer directly with questions about expectations, structure, and equipment needs.
  • Review the coach or organizer profile for experience and coaching philosophy.
  • Confirm location, schedule, and transportation logistics.
  • Look for trial sessions or satisfaction guarantees where available.

Should I contact program organizers directly?

Yes. The platform handles most communication and registration, but direct contact is valuable for asking about skill level appropriateness, schedule details, make-up policies, equipment requirements, and coaching style. Most organizers welcome questions from prospective participants.

Is SportsID safe for youth participants?

Youth safety is the top priority at SportsID. Safety measures include:

  • Background checks required for all youth program organizers
