Welcome to the complete guide to SportsID. Whether you are an administrator setting up your organization, a coach managing a team, or a parent registering an athlete, this guide covers everything you need to know to use the platform effectively.

We designed SportsID to be intuitive, but we also know that every organization works differently. This guide will help you tailor the platform to your specific needs.


Getting Started

Creating Your Account

The first step is creating your organization’s account. Visit our signup page and enter:

  • Your organization name
  • Your name and role
  • Your work email address
  • A secure password

Once your account is created, you will be taken to the setup wizard. This wizard walks you through the initial configuration steps.

The Setup Wizard

The setup wizard helps you configure:

  • Organization details (address, contact information, logo)
  • Your first program or season
  • Default registration settings
  • Team and role structure

You can skip any step and return to it later. The wizard is designed to get you started quickly without overwhelming you.

Inviting Team Members

After setup, invite your team. Navigate to Settings → Users → Invite User. Enter the email addresses of coaches, administrators, and volunteers. Assign roles based on what they need to do:

  • Administrators: Full access to all settings and data

Users receive an email invitation with a link to create their account. They will be prompted to set their own password.
